Individuals that seek power, tend to be individuals that feel like they have something to prove. When in all reality, they're no better then anyone else. But because of their power stricken hunger, they will mow down anyone or anything to get what they want. Even if it means cutting the throat of a loved one.
The only way the meek and humble will inherit the earth, is if they begin to have a desire for power. Because without power, you're stuck with nothing. Making a living for someone else and barely scraping by.
Its because the youth of this generation is interested in one thing and one thing only: sex, drugs, alcohol, raves, money, and the list goes on. Now do you think any of these youth are meek and humble? No. They don't have 401k plans. They don't have ANY plans. They live their lives for the sheer enjoyment of it and when they die, they'll have nothing but all of their big adventures and happy memories. But the real meek and humble learn how to bend over and take it. They learn how to get a job, and follow the leader, and the really meek and really humble may even retire early at the age of 55 and move to St George. That is what the scriptures really mean by "inherit the earth".
