My favorite childhood story wasn't really a book, as such. However, the story was an excellent one which I will never forget. My mom used to tell it as a bed time story.
It was about a man and his horse. The man would get inside the horse and ride for hours and hours. One day, the horse got sick with a new disease that had been recently discovered. The doctors said that most horses were too "prom skewers." I never knew what that meant, but it might have to do with Pacific Islanders and how they eat horse meat...
Anyway, the horse died, but it was ok, since the horse was only good for getting inside and riding, and you could just pick up another horse on the street corner, if you knew where to look. I guess that's just their natural habitat.
My mom always said that my dad use to get inside a horse and ride, and that's why he's not around anymore.
Well, that's pretty much my favorite childhood story.
My favorite book from my childhood is Playgirl Magazine. Wait, hear me out before you jump to any conclusions. I didn't like it for the reason you're probably thinking. The truth is, I really only liked it because it had big beautiful pictures of dongs and balls and I could pretend what it would be like to lick them.
