Why do anime characters look white? - Answers Hit

I've wondered the same thing... I'm betting it's because the oriental individuals that create anime... Are often jealous of the western civilizations. And so the only way they can be similar to the white people, is to create cartoons that depict the white people... Which earns the respect of the white people. I myself think that they should display individuals that look like themselves... and not worry about the respect of self centered white people. But hey... that's just my opinion.
