And when they die, why don't we stuff their corpse and keep it around, like a dog that has passed away, and has been stuffed, so that individuals feel that their best friend is still around.
There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day.
And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores.
And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man?s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham?s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried.
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
Haamid,
Its really quite simple. God, our father, loves us and so he created a terrible, terrible hell and condemned us all to go there, and he also created a way for a select few to be saved. If you actually have the chance to learn of Jesus, and you have the blind faith to believe in him, and you are willing to pick him as the true god over all of the other invisible gods, which are false, then you get to go to heaven and live with him forever! Everyone else (such as yourself) will be damned. But I do agree that we should stuff our loved ones, or at least mount their heads on the wall.
